J. Lohr Wines of Arroyo Seco Lunch

Join Director of Wine Education Lawrence Lohr in this in-depth discussion of the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County.  This event will begin with a salad and sandwich lunch designed by Chef David Page which will be served with J. Lohr Fog’s Reach Pinot Noir, followed by a tasting of a benchmark Arroyo Seco Pinot Noir and a more in-depth tasting and discussion of several benchmark Chardonnays representing the vineyards in this region.  Event will include a tasting of two chocolates from the Monterey Chocolate Company made with J. Lohr Arroyo Seco Wines.

Appellation Lunch Menu includes the following:

·         Farro & Quinoa Salad with Roast Fall Vegetables, Citrus Almond Vinaigrette

·         Choice of one of the following sandwiches:

Italian Chicken Club Sandwich– Oven Roasted Chicken, Pancetta, Apples and Arugula with a Creamy Gorgonzola Spread
Warm Beef Brisket Sandwich– served on a house-made Brioche Roll with Maple Pecan Slaw
Portobello & Roast Fennel Wrap– Roasted Fennel, Spinach, Portobello Mushroom and Provolone Cheese

·         Mini Chocolate Caramel Tart and Pumpkin Hazelnut Tart
