Valentine’s Wine Bottle Vase

Who needs roses when we have Rosé? Transform your empty J. Lohr wine bottles into decorative St. Valentine’s Day-themed centerpieces or vases in this fun and easy craft.

Supplies

  • Empty wine bottle
  • All-In-One Paint + Primer Spray Paint (any color you’d like; we used matte white)
  • Acrylic paint (we used red)
  • Paintbrush
  • Ribbon
  • Wood letters
  • Scissors
  • Superglue
  • Protective goggles and gloves
  • Seasonal decorative spray or other floral arrangement

Instructions

  1. Remove the wine label.
  2. After the label is removed, run bottle under warm water and scrub the glue off with a dish sponge.
  3. Dry the bottle, making sure there is no glue residue left.
  4. Take the bottle outside; wearing protective goggles and gloves, spray the bottle with spray paint; let dry.
  5. While your wine bottle is drying, paint your wood letters on a protected surface.
  6. When letters are dry, affix to the wine bottle using super glue.
  7. Measure the ribbon to the desired length, then tie into a bow at the top of the bottle.
  8. Add your decorative sprays or floral arrangements.
  9. Reward yourself with a glass of J. Lohr Gean Vineyard Rosé and toast your beautiful new Valentine’s vase.
